Little Hurt is a multi-sport event designed to expose youth from pre-K to 8th grade to competitions that include multiple sports, and to encourage participation in healthy activities. This event will take place on the Sunday after the Big Hurt, and we encourage Big Hurt participants to bring their kiddos and their bikes and stay for a family fun weekend!

Course Description
In the 1st-8th grade categories, Little Hurt includes 3 legs – biking (can use any type of non-electric bike), rowing on rowing machines provided by the Olympic Peninsula Rowing Association, and trail running in the forest behind the campus. Each participant does all of the legs – there is not a relay option for Little Hurt.
In the K / Pre-K (ages 3-5) categories, youth will bike and run only (no rowing machines) and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. This is a very short event just for fun and to expose kids to the fun of riding, running and racing with friends!
More volunteers are always needed!

Rowing machines are provided by the Olympic Peninsula Rowing Association and volunteers will be on hand to show the kids how to get started and help them along their rowing “journey”
All youth should display the highest degree of sportsmanship! The very best athletes lend a hand when challenges occur for their fellow racers.
Spectators and Volunteers:
Anyone is welcome anywhere along the courses to cheer the kids on! We encourage liberal use of cow bells and will have some to hand out on race day. We also need volunteers – if you are interested, reach out to us at contact@peninsulaadventuresports.com
